- Hold the chat thread that you want to archive
- tap the Archive icon in the top bar of whatsapp
- You will get a pop-up at the bottom showing that "Chat archived"
- To view your Archived chats, scroll down on the home screen of WhatsApp
- tap Archived chats option .
- All Archived Chats will be displayed
- To unarchive a chat, Go to the bottyom of whatsapp chats
- Touch & hold the archived chat thread Icon
- Touch the Archived Icon at Top bar of Whatschatt

- Important Note. Archive chat is just a simple way to hide whatsapp chats and not the secure or best one and if you receive a new whatsapp message in the chats you archived it will automatically come out of the Archive list and you can see it like normal chats.
